Would a horse with one eye make a novice jumper?

my aunt had a horse (died bout 4 years ago) who was blind in 1 eye and she jumped him high and rode him alot and she loved him. showed him 2 i think. i would talk 2 the owner a bunch about that sort of thing, cuz the should know. honestly, the people on here dont always give the best advice for things like these
