Speaker for onkyo tx-nr1007?

Jamo is a good speaker line, I have never heard the model you mentioned but some of their bookshelf models that I have auditioned sounded quite impressive. They are a European company that specializes in quality speakers for smaller rooms so you 607 is probably not going to play as loud as a similar size model from say Polk Audio or JBL but the sound you get will have a smooth balanced feel to it and they play plenty loud as you probably know yourself by auditioning them already... I would recommend getting the 607n without a sub at first, they should have sufficient bass for music and may be suitable for movie sound also if you listen at lower volumes in a mid to smaller size room...I would try it first before getting a sub any way...a nice sub to get in the future would be the BIC Formula F- 12 also if your looking for a home theater set you might want to look into the Jamo S5606HC 5. system or the Jamo S606 for a set of five speakers ...
