Dose my dachshund have a back problem?

i have a mini dachshund plus shes 5 months old she waddles but that's because she has a big belly ( im walking her and playing with her shes healthy ) but when i pick her up ( i read online how to pick her up and hold her ) but if i touch her lower back she cries no long just a Short YIP! and that's it she doesn't jump of anything ( a few times but shes learning ) but the crying has become less and less shes walking ok and very healthy eating good NOT dragging her feet walking normal is she ok or should i take her to the vet???
